DAY 20: Do-Overs, Cooking, Talk a Solo Walk, & Fun with Chalk

SELF-CARE: Take a walk by yourself, listening to your favorite music-amazing how a walk all alone in this time of living so closely to everyone can really reenergize me these days!

PARENTING TIP: Call a do over. Has the morning gotten off to a bad start? Butting heads with your child. It’s ok to start again. Take a deep breath and let the morning go. Sometimes declaring a new start can really change everyone’s mood.

INDOOR ACTIVITY: Cooking concoctions! While you are cooking give your child a few jars of forgotten herbs from the back of your pantry along with maybe some cornmeal or whatever might be handy and have her make a “potion” This entertained my son all the way through my meal prep yesterday. Pro Tip: Small amounts of things and jars that shake lead to less clean up time!

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY: Start a chalk mural using masking tape shapes on your sidewalk with the hope that others will add to it!
